Skins

A series of dimensional work on paper that considers the relationship between decoration and function. Designs pricked into paper allude to body parts and bodily functions, skin textures like goose flesh and razor rash. The designs are derived from lace, doilies, and other decorative materials typically associated with the domestic space and embedded with hardware.
